Legal

Terms

Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you download, buy or use Track Studio, a desktop app made by João Carreiro, based in Portugal ("I", "me"). By using the app you accept them.

Who sells the licence

Orders are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem takes the payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT and issues your invoice. Creem's own checkout terms also apply to the payment.

What you get

Licence to use the software

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Track Studio. The software is not open source and remains my property. You may not resell, share or publish licence keys, or copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app, except where the law gives you that right.

Videos you export are yours, and you may use them however you like, including commercially.

Your recordings

Your videos and telemetry are processed on your own computer. You are responsible for having the rights to the footage you use and for keeping your own backups.

Driving safely

Track Studio is for reviewing and sharing sessions after you drive. Use the car's Track Mode only on closed circuits and follow the rules of the track and the law.

Warranty and liability

I work to keep Track Studio reliable, but it is provided as is. Data shown comes from your car's recordings and may contain errors, so do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions. To the extent the law allows, my liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Refunds

See the refund policy.

Changes

I may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published on the day you bought it.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country. Questions: trackstudio@gallivanter.biz.
