On a bright day full of anticipation, little Rexi, a green dinosaur with sparkling eyes, was terribly excited. It was his birthday, and he dreamed of riding around the garden on a new tricycle. Just imagine the speed, the wind blowing over his scales, the adventure!
But when it was time for presents, his parents gave him something completely unexpected, smiling warmly as they handed it over: a colourful hat with a propeller spinning cheerfully on top! Well, it wasn't a tricycle, but Rexi tried to see the fun in this unusual gift.
Then a shadow fell over his special day: his friends didn't come to celebrate. Rexi looked around, hoping to see familiar faces appear at any moment, but all he saw was the quiet garden and the propeller hat, which somehow seemed to be smiling at him.
Even so, Rexi decided he wouldn't let it spoil his day. With the hat on his head, he ran around the garden, pretending it was the tricycle of his dreams. And, in his own way, Rexi found joy in the unexpected, celebrating his birthday with an adventure all his own.
